Rehabilitation Specialist

We are looking for a Rehabilitation Specialist to help build a healthier nation at our club.

• Organise and run rolling 12‑week rehabilitation programmes.
• Facilitate and deliver live‑stream and in‑person group exercise classes to participants with varying levels of ability and physical function.
• Promote self‑directed activity using pre‑recorded on‑demand classes and a self‑management journal after the 12‑week programme.
• Re‑calibrate exercises and intensities based on participants’ regular improvements.
• Identify deterioration, follow internal escalation processes and ensure timely reporting and accurate outcome data collection.
• Engage in weekly 1‑to‑1 telephone coaching conversations, setting short‑ and long‑term goals, monitoring progress, providing emotional wellbeing support and empowering self‑directed activity.
• Demonstrate leadership and influencing skills, effective communication, organisation and self‑motivation.
• Work collaboratively onsite, centrally and with the Charity team and beneficiaries; must possess excellent IT skills.
• Hold an essential Level3 Personal Trainer qualification.

• Level3 Personal Trainer qualification (essential).
• Previous experience as a Rehabilitation Specialist (desired).
• Possessing a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation desirable.
