YOUR ROLE
As the full‑time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader’s go‑to for developing and implementing the merchandising strategy for the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into great merchants delivering AEO brand visual standards every day. Through your leadership, your team nails floorset execution, rocks merchandising and marketing brand standards, keeps the store guest‑ready through effective replenishment, and embodies the company values.
YourResponsibilities

As a key LOD (Leader on Duty), you drive sales by maximizing fitting‑room and salesfloor productivity, building guest loyalty, and making strategic business decisions based on reporting and daily trends. You collaborate with the Store Team Leader to develop short‑ and long‑term business plans that drive key KPIs. - You are a merchandising innovator:
You coach your team to deliver an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store always represents AEO Brand Standards, manage day‑to‑day merchandising, sell‑through adjustments and replenishment, and seize merchandising opportunities with game‑plans. - You are a people leader:
You motivate and inspire your team through AEO’s core values, role‑model leadership, and accountability for customer service standards on the salesfloor and in the fitting room. - You have an eye for talent and love training:
You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent to meet business needs, and train and develop your team to maximize service excellence. - You know teamwork drives success:
You provide ongoing performance feedback via real‑time coaching, touch‑bases, development plans, and performance reviews, and celebrate team achievements. - You are an operational innovator:
You execute and improve daily operational procedures, maintain visual standards throughout the store’s zones, and keep the fitting rooms guest‑ready and AEO‑standard compliant. - Integrity is your middle name:
You maintain store safety, asset protection, and adherence to AEO policies and procedures, doing the right thing at all times.
