We are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Receptionist to join their Sunderland office.

Role Overview

As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a positive and professional impression of the firm.

This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy legal environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
  • Booking and preparing meeting rooms
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post
  • Maintaining reception and front-of-house areas
  • Providing administrative support to fee earners and support staff
  • Managing appointment scheduling and diary coordination
  • Assisting with file opening procedures and compliance checks
  • Ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous reception or front-of-house experience (legal experience desirable)
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
