About the Role:

We're seeking a confident, professional, and welcoming Front of House Receptionist to provide temporary cover at a modern and vibrant business centre in Sunderland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in customer-facing roles and takes pride in creating a positive first impression. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception and delivering excellent service to all visitors and tenants.

Location: Sunderland City Centre
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Contract: Wednesday 4th June - Friday 4th July - you must be able to commit to the full contract duration
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch break each day)
Parking: Available at a nearby public car park at a daily cost, and close to all public transport links.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee front of house for business centre
  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff with professionalism
  • Handle incoming post and deliveries
  • Maintain a tidy, presentable, and organised reception area
  • Monitor visitor access and maintain safety procedures
  • Manage any calls, messages, and basic administrative duties

About You:

  • Previous experience in a reception/front-of-house or customer-facing role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organised and proactive, with the ability to multitask under pressure
  • Comfortable with basic admin and using office systems
