Responsibilities

Our Junior Buyer will provide administration support for our Purchasing team of 7, responsible for a £35m annual spend. You'll be a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Support professional, using your skills to assist our Purchasing Team in ensuring smooth operations. The role will manage procurement documentation, liaise with suppliers, and support the team with administrative tasks to enhance efficiency, compliance and customer service.

This opportunity will suit an administrator with an understanding of, or experience in procurement, purchasing or buying within a fast-paced organisation. You'll enjoy supplier communication, provision of data and quotes, support compliance and event administration. Your role will be key in providing data for analysis, tracking spend and reporting.

Qualifications
  • Proven communication skills and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comprehensive IT skills including Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with stock management systems would be beneficial.
