Permanent About the Opportunity An established and award winning UK house builder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their South West construction team. The Role Reporting to the Construction Director, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations from inception through to completion - ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Oversee all construction activities in line with NHBC standards, Building Regulations and company specifications. Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors to deliver build programmes efficiently. Monitor progress, budgets, and quality, taking corrective action where necessary. Uphold the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance. Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks, ensuring defect-free handovers. Work closely with internal departments and the Sales team to ensure smooth customer handovers and a first-class experience.

Maintain accurate site records, manage costs, and approve subcontractor payments. Deliver toolbox talks and lead by example in promoting a positive, safe site culture. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Proven experience as a Site Manager within the house building or residential construction sector. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate site teams and subcontractors. Comprehensive understanding of NHBC Standards, Building Regulations, and Health & Safety legislation. Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage build programmes effectively. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Full UK driving licence. Qualifications (preferred): SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) CSCS (Managers Card) NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or equivalent MCIOB membership (advantageous) The Package Salary:
