About the Candidate

We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Graphic Designer and change maker who takes pride in producing high-quality work and delivering their projects right first time. Working predominantly on our Construction Technical Excellence College (CTEC) marketing collateral, part of Sunderland College’s Housing Innovation & Construction Skills Academy, you will play a key role in supporting its marketing and brand across print and digital channels, while also supporting the wider Creative Team at Education Partnership North East.

You will use initiative to manage your own workload, meet deadlines and continuously improve creative output, contributing to creative projects such as brand development, photography and video. As a valued member of the Marketing & Communications team, you will actively support promotional activity across CTEC and the wider college.

You will work collaboratively with curriculum, marketing and external stakeholders, including the Department for Education, while supporting events, managing design-related administration and contributing positively to a solution-focused team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Produce engaging on- and offline designs in line with CTEC and EPNE marketing strategies, maintaining and developing brand standards, while using initiative and creativity to solve complex challenges and deliver effective outcomes.
  • Edit photographs and video for use across digital and traditional platforms, supporting the wider Marketing & Communications department to plan, source and capture image, video and other creative content.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external agencies, printing partners, and stakeholders to coordinate, deliver, and share CTEC and EPNE marketing assets effectively.
