North East Dance CIC is seeking an enthusiastic and creative

Community Dance Tutor (18.5 hours/week | £15,873) to join our exciting new Heritage Lottery-funded initiative celebrating Sunderland’s rich dance heritagethrough movement, storytelling, and community engagement.

Salary: £15,873 actual per annum

Fixed-term (Heritage Fund Grant Dependent)

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in preserving and celebrating Sunderland's dance heritage while inspiring people of all agesto connect through creativity and movement.

• Deliverinspiring dance and movement sessions for young people and older adults
• Facilitateinclusive workshops exploring dance heritage and cultural traditions
• Developengaging learning materials and resources
• Supportparticipant recruitment, engagement, and wellbeing
• Contribute to performances, showcases, and community events

• Passionate about dance, heritage, and community wellbeing
• Experienced in delivering community dance and movement sessions
• Confident working with mixed age groups and diverse communities
• Creative,inclusive, and culturally sensitive in their practice
• Committed to creating welcoming spaces where everyone can participate

This is a North East-based / community-focused role
