Position:
Grade E, SCP 8‑11 (£26,823‑28,141 per annum, pro rata).

Hours:

37 hours per week, Term time only plus 5 days (39 weeks).

Contract:

Permanent.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our SEND team.

• Work under the guidance of the SENDCO to implement agreed work programmes with individuals or groups, in or out of the classroom.
• Support pupils with SEND to achieve their learning targets and contribute to their inclusive education.
• Collaborate with teachers, care coordinators and external agencies to support pupils’ wellbeing and achievements.
• Participate in team meetings, share insights and promote inclusive teaching practices.

• Experience working with young people.
• Understanding of the needs of pupils, particularly those with SEND.
• Able to work within a team and positively contribute to the learning environment.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to support pupils on individual targets set by staff.
