Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing

We’re working with a Sunderland school built around nurture, respect and personalised learning. The focus here is simple, children first, always. You’ll be supporting pupils who benefit from calm, consistent adults who take the time to really get to know them.

• Supporting pupils in class, in small groups and 1:1
• Helping children regulate emotions and access learning
• Working closely with teachers to adapt activities to individual needs
• Creating a positive, encouraging learning environment
• Supporting social skills, independence and confidence

• Kindness and patience over quick fixes
• Individual progress, not box-ticking
• Strong relationships between staff and pupils
• A calm, structured and supportive approach to learning

• Has experience working with children or young people
• Is calm, resilient and genuinely caring
• Understands that behaviour is communication
• Is reliable, consistent and happy to be part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
