Leader Education are currently recruiting a Teacher for a SEND Secondary School. The school serves approximately 200 young people aged 11 to 19 with a range of complex needs, including severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), and an increasing number of pupils with Autism. The school is well‑equipped with outstanding facilities such as a therapy pool and sensory room, and is supported by a dedicated team of staff committed to enriching the lives of the children.

This is a long‑term position with a typical working schedule of Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Leader Education is dedicated to ensuring that we find adaptable roles and schedules that work effectively for you.

• Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have some experience working with or alongside pupils that have SEND
• Follow personalised curriculums and care plans to meet pupil's requirements
• Work with pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in group settings, communicating effectively
• Participate in the planning and implementation of the curriculum through lesson planning and delivery
• Set up lessons, equipment and activities within the classrooms
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and other teams to create a holistic supportive environment for pupils
