Teaching Assistant – Primary Team
Location:
Sunderland
Pay: £90 – £120 per week (dependent on experience)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our primary team in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible and motivated individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
The Role:
Supporting pupils across multiple key stages within a primary setting
Working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons
Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate :
Has experience working with the UK Primary Curriculum
Is flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across different year groups
Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills
Is reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress
Desirable
Experience:
Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Phonics experience (highly advantageous)
What We Offer:
Weekly pay ranging from £90 – £120, depending on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
