Job DescriptionJob Title: Partnerships Admissions Officer

Responsible to: Senior Manager Partnerships Admissions
Purpose: To deliver a first-class admissions and recruitment service for the University’s applicants, offering official and professional advice and ensuring service quality. Develop a detailed understanding of international and UK qualifications for undergraduate and postgraduate entry, and knowledge of UKVI and UCAS practice and regulation. Promote an inclusive university community.
MainDuties & Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day running of the Partnership Admissions Service.
- Process student applications (UCAS Direct, Pre-Registration Nursing, Postgraduate, Apprentices and partner/TNE applications) across home, EU and international markets; provide clerical support as needed.
- Create and maintain applicant records in the University’s Student Record System, including offer information.
- Manage and maintain application routes for courses (UCAS and direct applications); process review and data transfer to the Student Record System.
- Carry out fees assessments to ensure correct fee categorisation.
- Develop understanding of UK and overseas qualifications and English language requirements; perform required checks for designated courses.
- Liaise with partner institutions and internal stakeholders to ensure best practice in line with University Admissions Policy and Procedure.
- Schedule and implement interviews and selection days as required; prepare documents and issue invites and correspondence.
- Handle enquiries via telephone, email, letters and walk-ins with detailed advice on procedures and entry requirements.
- Represent the Partnership Admissions Team at open days and events, providing information and support, and taking on team leader roles where needed.
- Contribute to admissions decisions for entry to undergraduate and postgraduate courses within set timescales.
- Guide applicants through the admissions process and discuss Admissions Policy and Procedure with stakeholders.
- Recommend updates to processes and procedures to the Collaborative Compliance Team when appropriate.
- Provide advice to colleagues on admissions processes and maintain a consistent, customer-focused service across the External Collaborations Directorate.
- Ensure compliance with Data Protection Act 2018, GDPR, Health and Safety, UKVI and Equality & Diversity in all practices.
- Other duties as required.

Qualifications:
Level 3 and related qualifications - Knowledge &
Experience:
Delivering excellent customer experience; experience in UK Higher Education; experience of developing systems or procedures; substantial administrative experience; ability to work independently and manage conflicting priorities - Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft tools; excellent written and verbal communication; high attention to detail and confidentiality; ability to work in high-performance customer-focused teams; strong organisational and time-management skills - Special Requirements:
Able to work overtime (including weekends during peak periods); annual leave may need to be scheduled around busy periods; able to work across campuses (High Wycombe and Uxbridge); willingness to travel in the UK
