About the RoleDeliver GCSE English to our 16‑18 study programme students, preparing them for their November and Summer GCSE exams and supporting them to make positive progress from their varying starting points. As a maternity cover teacher (until December 2026), you will be passionate about unlocking students’ potential, unafraid to innovate in your teaching and driven to provide the best possible learning experiences for our GCSE resit students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, teach and assess GCSE English lessons in line with curriculum standards.
- Support individual students to progress and achieve high attainment.
- Prepare students for their upcoming exams.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date student records.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice.
- Teaching Qualification (Level
5) or commitment to achieve within first 2 years. - Level 6 (degree) qualification.
