Graduate Cover Supervisor

Graduate Cover Supervisor role: you will supervise lessons using pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour, and support students to remain focused on learning. No lesson planning is required.

Secondary schools in Sunderland are seeking a Graduate Cover Supervisor to provide classroom supervision during teacher absence. This Graduate Cover Supervisor role is well suited to graduates looking to gain front-of-class experience in a secondary school setting.

• Supervising whole classes across different subjects
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Reporting student progress or concerns to teaching staff

• A degree in any subject
• Experience with young people is preferred but not essential
• Confidence working with secondary-aged students

This Graduate Cover Supervisor role provides excellent experience for graduates considering teacher training or long-term roles in education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
