As a Professional Placements Senior Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting and coordinating placement activity within the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing. You’ll provide a professional, customer‑focused service that ensures students, colleagues and external partners receive clear, timely and accurate support throughout the placement process. It’s a rewarding role that directly contributes to the success of our graduates and the reputation of the University.

We have two fixed‑term posts available until 31 July 2026 and 28 August 2026.

You’re organised, positive and adaptable, with experience working in an administrative environment — whether in higher education or elsewhere. You bring strong attention to detail, confidence using a range of IT systems, and the ability to work well in a busy team. You enjoy building strong working relationships, solving problems and staying calm when things get busy. You’re open‑minded, flexible, and willing to learn, with a proactive, can‑do attitude that helps things move forward.

You’ll be at the heart of our placement operations — liaising with partner organisations to secure opportunities, allocating students based on professional requirements, maintaining accurate records for reporting, and managing a wide range of enquiries from students, colleagues and external stakeholders. You’ll help shape a smooth, high‑quality experience for everyone involved and support the Faculty’s continued growth by identifying ways we can improve how we work.
