SEND Teaching Assistant; PMLD

A specialist SEND school is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties. Important:

All successful applicants will be required to attend a school‑based interview and trial day before the summer holidays to secure their September placement.

• Supporting learning and development
• Assisting with personal care
• Supporting sensory and communication activities
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Monday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:30am – 3:45pm
• Thursday: 8:30am – 4:15pm
• Friday: 8:30am – 3:15pm

• Compassionate and patient approach
• Full‑time applicants only
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply and pay for one
• Ability to provide two recent professional references
• Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
