  • Working Pattern:
    Full time - 37 hours per week - 8.30am to 4.30pm daily (with a 4.00pm finish on Fridays).
FURTHER INFORMATION We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for a September start, to work in Key Stage 2

Grangetown is a vibrant, friendly and welcoming primary school. We wish to appoint a highly motivated and hard-working Teaching Assistant to provide support for pupils and teachers.

The post will be based initially in Year 4.

We are seeking a suitably qualified candidate, with appropriate experience and the ability to support in class as well as with small groups of children.

The successful applicant will:
  • Be proficient in supporting aspects of teaching and learning, under the direction of the classroom teacher.
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge, appropriate to the year group, especially in English and maths.
  • Have high expectations for all children.
  • Be a team player but also able to work independently when required.
  • Be an effective communicator, who is willing to participate fully in the life of the school.
