Many pupils in alternative provision have experienced trauma, instability or significant challenges outside school. That’s why we’re looking for Trauma‑Informed Teaching Assistants to join a nurturing Pupil Referral Unit (PRU). This is more than a classroom role — it’s about creating safety, trust and stability.

• Providing emotional and learning support
• Helping pupils feel safe and regulated
• Using restorative and trauma‑informed approaches
• Working collaboratively with pastoral teams and teachers

• Empathetic and emotionally resilient individuals
• Experience in care, support work or SEND is valuable
• People who understand attachment and trust‑building

• Develop specialist trauma‑informed practice
• Support pupils with life‑changing interventions
• Build highly sought‑after SEND experience
