Education World is recruiting Intervention SEN Tutors across Gateshead to provide targeted 1:1 support for children and young people with additional needs who are unable to access mainstream education full-time.
Working through local authority and school‑funded provision, you will deliver personalised intervention sessions in homes, libraries, and community venues, helping learners make academic progress while building confidence and engagement.
AboutThe Role
- Have SEN or SEND needs
- Hold an EHCP
- Have Autism (ASC) or ADHD
- Experience SEMH challenges
- Struggle with school attendance or school avoidance
- Require alternative provision support
- GCSE Maths & English
- Functional Skills
- Literacy and numeracy catch‑up
