Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the vibrant School of Education and contribute to our International Initial Teacher Training programmes as part of the Secondary Education team. The successful candidate will work with our PGCE iQTS (Secondary) provision, support our Assessment Only Route to QTS, and possibly help deliver Secondary On‑Campus programmes. You will plan, deliver, and assess trainee teachers worldwide via distance learning.
Responsibilities- Plan, deliver, and assess teaching for the PGCE iQTS (Distance Learning) and Assessment Only Route to QTS programmes.
- Support international trainee teachers and educators, drawing on experience in international education.
- Contribute to curriculum development, subject specialist sessions, student support and quality assurance processes.
- Develop and deliver high quality, research‑informed teaching and learning that inspires, empowers and equips students with real‑world, applicable skills supporting global employability.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
- Extensive experience in teaching and learning.
- Experience of working with international or internationally based learners is highly desirable.
