If you've recently completed a Psychology degree and want to gain meaningful experience before progressing into Educational Psychology, Mental Health or Teaching, we'd love to hear from you.

We're supporting several specialist schools across Sunderland looking for Graduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEMH, Autism, ADHD and complex additional needs.

Working pattern
  • September start
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:30am-3:30pm or 8:30am-4:30pm
  • Term-time only
  • Full-time
Duties
  • Supporting behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Building therapeutic relationships
  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities
  • Delivering small group interventions
  • Supporting learning and social development
  • Recording observations and progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
