Year 1 to 6 Intervention Teaching Assistant
The Education Network Durham are looking for a teaching assistant to work across years 1 to 6 in a Sunderland school. You will be leading interventions with a range of pupils. The post is full-time and starts September 2026, and will likely run for the academic year.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30.
• Support classroom teaching and pupils in years 1‑6.
• Lead intervention support sessions for pupils requiring additional assistance.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to promote pupil progress.
Qualifications and experience- Relevant TA, childcare, or intervention qualification/experience
- Two satisfactory references covering the last two years
- Commitment to the continued success of both pupils and the school
- Good understanding of the curriculum
- Can‑do attitude
