Year 4 Teaching Assistant
Location:
Sunderland primary school
Employment:
Full‑time, temporary, seasonal (academic year) starting September
2026
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm
Pay:
Daily rate £94.95
- Support the lead teacher in delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Assist pupils in Year4 with lessons, activities and assessment tasks.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small group support as required.
- Maintain accurate records of pupils’ progress and attendance.
- Relevant teaching assistant or childcare qualification (or equivalent).
- Prior experience working with Year4 pupils is desirable.
- Two recent satisfactory references covering the last two years.
- Strong commitment to pupil progress and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
- Competitive daily rate of £94.95.
