Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary)

£462.80 - £500 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

September 2026 – July 2027

A primary school in Sunderland is seeking a dedicated Year 3/4 Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time. You will work closely with the class teacher, supporting pupils with their learning, leading small group activities, and providing individual support where needed. The ideal candidate will have previous Key Stage 2 experience, a positive and adaptable approach, and a genuine passion for helping children build confidence and achieve their full potential.

• Experience of working within KS1.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• A passion for the progress of pupils.
• An ability to work as part of a team.
