They will be passionate about their subject, committed to raising aspirations and determined to equip young people with the skills, confidence and resilience to succeed both in the classroom and in the wider world.

This role is a Lecturer and Programme Lead for Hospitality and Catering with teaching, learning and assessment responsibility across levels 1 to 3. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an Ofsted Outstanding College, a World Skills Centre for Excellence and in industry standard facilities whilst teaching technical vocational catering skills to a range of students. The college has its own commercial restaurant 'City Bistro' serving members of the public, caters for external events and participates widely in regional and national competitions.

The successful candidate will benefit from a range of pedagogical and industry training.

• To provide an excellent experience to students through exemplary learning, teaching and standards of assessment.
• Preparation of effective formative and summative assessments including feedback to meet awarding organisation requirements and student needs.
• Oversee the needs and positive progress of all students, including those with an EHCP or ALS need enrolled on a course/programme for which you are responsible.
• Work effectively within teams responsible for devising, reviewing and maintaining effective management of study programmes; and contribute towards the sharing of practice
