Art & Design Lecturer
- Part-Time Temporary

The Supply Register is currently recruiting on behalf of Education Partnership North East (EPNE) / Sunderland College for a part-time, temporary Art & Design Lecturer to join their creative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Art & Design professional and teacher to bring their industry knowledge, creativity and passion into the classroom and help young people develop the skills, confidence and portfolios they need to progress into further study or the creative industries.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Art & Design lessons to post-16 learners.
  • Plan and prepare high-quality teaching and learning materials.
  • Support students to develop their practical, creative and technical skills.
  • Deliver across areas of the Art & Design curriculum relevant to your specialism.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support learners to achieve their qualifications.
  • Prepare students for progression into higher education, employment or further study.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and ambitious learning environment.
  • Use your industry knowledge and experience to bring Art & Design to life.
Requirements
  • Level 5 teaching qualification or equivalent.
  • Level 3 or above qualification in Art & Design or a relevant subject.
  • Level 2 or equivalent qualifications in English and the ability to teach post-16 learners within Further Education.
  • An Enhanced DBS Child Workforce check registered on the DBS Update Service.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, learner-focused sessions.
