Key responsibilities include:
Delivering Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair lessons across Level 1 and Level 2 programmes, as well as Level 2 and Level 3 Apprenticeships Teaching both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based theory Demonstrating industry-standard diagnostic, maintenance, and repair techniques Preparing learners for assessments, practical observations, and coursework Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback Maintaining a safe and compliant workshop environment, promoting health and safety best practice Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that enables learners to succeed
What We're Looking For Essential:Relevant Motor Vehicle qualification at Level 3 or above
Fully qualified in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DET, or equivalent)
Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/D33, or equivalent)
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable:Internal Verifier qualification (V1 or D34)
Experience delivering automotive apprenticeship standards
Recent teaching experience within Further Education or a training environment
Knowledge of current automotive industry standards and emerging vehicle technologies
