37 hours per week (24 teaching hours, 13 planning and marking hours) Pay: £24.43 - £42.03 per hour including holiday pay

We are currently recruiting a Childcare Lecturer to support EPNE at the Sunderland Bede Campus. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced lecturers and childcare professionals with a passion for supporting students within a Further Education environment.
The Role As a Childcare Lecturer, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across childcare programmes, helping learners develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to succeed in the sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering Childcare lessons to FE students Planning, preparing, and assessing learning in line with curriculum requirements Supporting learners with target setting, progress reviews, and achievement of qualifications
- Monitoring learner progress and maintaining accurate student records Promoting safeguarding, equality, diversity, and professional standards within the classroom What We're Looking For Experience teaching Childcare within a Further Education setting Strong communication and classroom management skills Ability to motivate and support learners to achieve their goals Relevant Childcare qualification Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one (desirable) Confidence using ICT systems and maintaining learner records Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) Safeguarding Statement The Supply Register and EPNE are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
