We are looking for an ambitious and inspirational person with a passion for making a difference and enabling children to succeed, totake on the role of class teacher at our ‘good’ Infant and Nursery School. The role involves a 3 day a week class-based responsibility, in a job-share with an existing member of staff.

We are an inner-city Infant and Nursery School. We pride ourselves on the fact that we place children and relationships at the centre of everything we do. As a relational school, we strive to build, maintain andrepair relationships with all stakeholders to ensure every child feels safe,secure, supported, happy, enthused and challenged. We work to ensure that all children are empowered to excel and are provided with opportunities to do sothrough demonstrating the school values.

The successful candidate will:

The successful candidate will need:

  • A clear understanding of how young children learn
  • At least 3 years’ experience of working in Primary Education
  • The ability to work well with children,colleagues and other professionals
  • A commitment to child development and equal opportunities
  • An understanding of the law around keeping children safe (safeguarding)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Patience and a good sense of humour
