At Curaleaf, we’re looking for a motivated Facilities Engineer to roll up their sleeves and join our team. You’ll combine hands‑on maintenance with proactive project work to keep our production areas, clean rooms, warehouse, and offices safe and compliant.

What you’ll be doing :As Facilities Engineer, you’ll partner with multiple teams to maintain reliable equipment and site operations in a regulated environment.
Your main responsibilities include:- Performing planned and reactive maintenance tasks, meeting departmental targets.
- Supporting the installation, commissioning and qualification of new equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.
- Conducting mechanical and electrical fault‑finding, repairs, and improvements.
- Supervising contractors to ensure compliance with safety and GMP standards.
- Maintaining accurate records, managing tools and parts, and assisting with cleanroom, HVAC, and utility upkeep.
- Participating in planned shutdowns, audits and safety checks.
- Driving continuous improvement and a proactive engineering and safety culture.
- This role also involves some on‑call support outside of normal working hours and at weekends.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing, GMP, or regulated environment, with a relevant engineering qualification (Level 3 NVQ, ONC, or City & Guilds).
- Knowledge of building services, facilities systems, and preventative maintenance techniques.
- Hands‑on problem‑solving and fault‑finding on production and utilities equipment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- IT skills with experience in maintenance record systems and digital reporting.
- A flexible attitude to work, with willingness to support planned weekend overtime for essential engineering works.
- Understanding of safe systems of work

- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
- Experience in GMP/cleanroom environments
- Knowledge of HVAC, utilities, or building management systems (BMS)
- Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and reliability improvements
