We’re currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Electrical Engineer to join their team for a stand out role in Sunderland. Our client is offering a generous package, including high‑voltage training, annual bonuses, and exposure to a state‑of‑the‑art critical site.

For this role, you will ensure PPM and reactive maintenance is carried out, liaise with subcontractors, represent the company in a positive manner, and ensure all compliance is adhered to. This role follows a 4‑on‑4‑off shift pattern (days and nights).

• PPMs & reactive maintenance
• Single and three‑phase power, motors, generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, shutdowns, emergency lighting, fire alarm test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, sprinkler systems, pumps, BMS operation
• Quotations
• Health & safety
• Logbooks
• Risk assessments
• Permits to work

• Fully qualified in either electrical installations (City & guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
• Career driven and motivated
• Prior experience in critical environments – desirable, not essential
• High voltage switching experience – desirable
• At least 3 years experience prior working in commercial environments

• £46,000 + overtime available
• High‑voltage training provided + additional £1.5k when passed
