Debt Consultant

Pre Action specializes in providing tailored support services to utility brokers to protect their revenue, optimize cash flow, and navigate industry challenges. With decades of expertise in utility brokering and legal sectors, the company focuses on helping brokers recover financial losses by addressing customer contract breaches—including historical disputes up to six years old. Pre Action offers a wide range of services, including debt resolution, terms and conditions review, compliance guidance, and connections to suppliers and aggregators.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Sunderland Area, United Kingdom. As a Debt Consultant, you will oversee the management and resolution of debt-related cases for clients, handle debt collection and settlement processes, and provide financial advice tailored to specific client needs. You will also maintain strong communication with clients to build relationships and ensure the delivery of high-quality service aligned with Pre Action’s values.

• Strong understanding of Debt Management and Debt Collection processes
• Experience in Debt Settlement and Financial analysis
• Effective Communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders
• Problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
• Proficiency in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
• Previous experience in finance, utilities, debt or a related field is advantageous
• Ability to thrive in a demanding, on-site work environment
