The Role
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance department, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and transactions are processed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing supplier invoices and payments
* Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Completing bank reconciliations
* Supporting credit control activities
* Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
* Processing expenses and cash transactions
* Assisting with billing queries and financial administration
* Using accounting software, including Xero
* Supporting finance compliance procedures
* Providing administrative support to the wider finance team
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who:
* Have previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Bookkeeping or similar finance role
* Possess strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy
* Are confident using Excel and accounting systems
* Have good organisational and time management skills
* Can effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Are motivated to build a long-term career within finance
