Working Hours:
37 hours p/w
Flexibility: x2 days in office, 3 WFH
Our Local Authority client based in The North East are urgently looking to take on a Housing Options Officer to join their housing options service.
Your day to day duties will include:- Interviewing and advising homeless people in relation to all available housing opportunities
- Providing advice regarding their rights and responsibilities
- Give appropriate assistance to such customers in accordance with the Council's statutory duties under the Housing Act 1996 Section 190 and Section 192
- Refer homeless people to suitable available housing options speedily and efficiently
- Providing long term solutions and up keeping customer relations
- Previous Housing Options Experience
- Knowledge of the Housing Act
- Customer Focused
- Experience working with the Locata System
