We are expanding our services in Sunderland and are seeking compassionate, reliable Healthcare Assistants to support a teenage male with complex clinical care needs. He has a great sense of humour, enjoys school, and thrives when he is active and engaged.
This role involves providing 1:1, person-centred care in his home and educational setting, supporting clinical needs, personal care, daily routines, and emotional wellbeing.
Building a positive, trusting relationship is key, along with encouraging meaningful activities that promote independence and quality of life.
Night support includes assisting with bedtime routines, providing reassurance, monitoring clinical needs, and ensuring he remains safe and settled throughout the night.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff. Our client has specifically requested females only to join their care team.

What You’ll Need- 3 months’ care experience
- Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
- Clear communication skills
