What this ace role is about: you'll be the wizard behind the curtain, ensuring our critical systems are always reliable, available, and performing like a dream. We'll implement smart automation, sharp monitoring, and high-speed incident response strategies to keep everything running smoothly. You'll work with dev, infra, and security teams to balance exciting new features with unbeatable stability.

• System Reliability & Availability Hero: guardian of uptime, ensuring critical systems are always available and meeting SLAs. Lead incident management and ensure learnings from incidents.
• Monitoring & Alerting Maestro: setting up and maintaining monitoring systems (e.g., Dynatrace). Craft alerting to pre-empt problems and define metrics for system health.
• Incident Response Ace: on the front lines resolving incidents quickly to minimize downtime; lead root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
• Automation Whizz: automate repetitive tasks using Terraform, Git, Team City; streamline environment setup and configuration; build CI/CD pipelines.
• Capacity Planning Pro: ensure systems scale to meet demand; optimize resources; forecast future needs.
• Performance Optimiser: tune databases, improve response times, run load and stress tests for peak performance.
• Infrastructure Guru: manage AWS resources, ensure scalability, cost-effectiveness, resilience; craft disaster recovery plans.
• Collaboration King/Queen: work with development teams, champion service ownership, provide feedback to improve operations.
• Security & Compliance Captain: weave security best practices into infrastructure and ensure production environments remain compliant and protected.
• Documentation Dynamo: document infrastructure, procedures, and runbooks clearly.
• Continuous Improvement Enthusiast: pursue new tech and better ways to improve reliability, performance, and efficiency.
