Consultant Project Manager

Role Overview :
An experienced Contracts Manager is required to oversee multiple construction projects across Yorkshire and Northern England. The role involves full responsibility for the management and delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, programme, and commercial performance.

This position is suited to a Contracts Manager who is comfortable managing varied project types and working across multiple live sites.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead all pre-construction activities, including project scoping, review of pre-construction information, programming, procurement take-offs, and pre-start meetings.

* Manage projects from commencement through to completion.

* Act as the main point of contact between site teams, clients, consultants, and statutory authorities.

* Coordinate plant, materials, subcontractors, and labour resources to ensure efficient delivery.

* Take full responsibility for projects under your control, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

* Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective solutions to maintain programme and performance.

Candidate Profile:

* Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within construction or civil engineering.

* Experience delivering projects within sectors such as retail, fit-out, forecourts, EV, or similar environments.

* Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Strong understanding of health & safety, contractual, and compliance requirements.
