Our client specialises in the provision of bespoke automation and materials handling solutions to some of the biggest names in the UK. As a result of continued success and an ongoing planned program of strategic expansion, they are now seeking to recruit an articulate, dynamic and highly self‑motivated and experienced Site Manager / Site Supervisor to complement their established and successful project team.

Working with others in the team, the successful candidate will be tasked with management of the implementation of automated equipment in the network for a major retailer within the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

• Site management of the installation of automated systems into both live operational and Greenfield sites.
• Coordination and communication with suppliers and the customer.
• Managing contractors to support the installation.
• Managing small projects independently.

To be considered for this varied and challenging Site Manager role in Sunderland, the candidate must:

• Have previous experience in the site management of materials handling installations with CDM experience.
• Hold a current SMSTS qualification as a minimum.
• Be flexible to travel throughout the UK.
• Hold a valid, full driving licence.
