This is a Permanent, Full time vacancy that will close in 13 days at 23:59 BST.

About the role

As the Assistant Manager you will support the manager in the day‑to‑day running of all areas of the business. This includes receiving donations, organising collections, processing and delivering goods, operating a repair and reuse service, responding to queries, opening and closing the centre, and recruiting and training volunteers and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Support the manager in day‑to‑day operations of the centre.
  • Organise donations, collections and processing of goods for local stores and the premises.
  • Manage repair and reuse service and divert waste from landfill.
  • Respond to customers, head office and team queries.
  • Open and close the centre.
  • Recruit, train and manage volunteers and staff.
