What You'll Be Doing:
Safely operate CNC machines in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Collaborate with production control, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.
Execute machining tasks to precise engineering drawings, maintaining quality at every stage.
Edit and modify CNC programmes as needed to enhance production efficiency.
Record work accurately using our shop floor computer system, aligning with production schedules.
Conduct planned inspections using a variety of measuring equipment, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Mentor and support apprentices and trainees in their development.
Uphold a proactive approach to Health & Safety, adhering to company policies.
Who We're Looking For:
Solid engineering qualifications with solid CNC machining experience, especially in milling and turning.
Familiarity with CNC mill/turn machinery and 5/7-axis machining is a plus!
Strong communication skills and a positive, adaptable attitude.
NVQ or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline, plus completed engineering apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.
