Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

Zenith are delighted to be partnering with a long‑established, highly respected North‑East manufacturer as they continue to strengthen their engineering team. We’re recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join the business on a permanent basis — a fantastic opportunity to work with modern production equipment in a fast‑moving, supportive environment.

As a key member of the maintenance team, you’ll play a proactive role in keeping the plant running smoothly. You’ll be hands‑on with a wide range of production machinery, ensuring equipment is reliable, safe, and continuously improving.

• Diagnosing and resolving faults on a variety of production equipment
• Carrying out planned maintenance in line with the CMMS schedule
• Working closely with Production Technicians and Engineers to keep operations running efficiently
• Completing detailed shift logs to support smooth handovers and future improvements
• Supporting commissioning, development, and optimisation of new and existing machinery
• Taking part in overtime when required
• Performing any additional duties aligned with the role as needed

• Time‑served with a minimum BTEC ONC qualification (essential)
• Willingness to undertake further training and development
• Ability to contribute to the ongoing improvement of PPM systems

• At least two years’ post‑apprenticeship experience in a similar maintenance role
• Strong understanding of electro‑pneumatic, PLC‑controlled machinery
• Experience with in FMCG or similar fast‑paced environments
