Part Time / Full Time – 12‑hour shifts, up to 48 hours per week
Rate/Salary: £20.94 per hour
Hylton Grange is part of Exemplar Health Care, a leading provider of nursing care for adults living with complex and high acuity needs. We support 30 adults with complex mental health needs and neuro‑disabilities, including Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s disease, across three units. Our care focuses on rehabilitation from hospital or secure settings to community‑based living, with long‑term support for degenerative or life‑limiting illnesses.
AboutThe Role
This highly skilled nursing role requires you to be accountable and responsible for supporting people’s holistic needs. You will provide the highest standards of nursing care for adults living with complex needs, focusing on maximising independence and building everyday living skills. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include:
- assessing, planning and implementing care for the people we support
- providing person‑centred and evidence‑based nursing care
- developing collaborative, needs‑based care plans through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
- safe administration of medication
- promoting health and wellbeing
- acting as Nurse in Charge of a small unit while on shift
- managing situations when people display behaviours that may challenge
- promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect

To apply for this role you must have a first‑level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN. We are looking for Registered Nurses from all backgrounds (Adult, Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurses).
