Hourly

Responsible for all aspects of care provided to the sick and injured. Performs a variety of advanced emergency medical response duties as needed to deliver at-the-scene and in transport medical support services.

• Maintains and operates an emergency medical vehicle.
• Treat patients at the scene, in route to hospital and in pre-hospital settings in accordance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and standards and in accordance with SPRC EMS policies rules and guidelines.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of applicable current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses.

Experience:

• Minimal 2 years of pre-hospital emergency direct patient care
• Minimal 1 year of patient care in a clinical setting.

Certifications:

• NREMT/P - National Registered Paramedic
• NMEMT/P - New Mexico Emergency Medical Technician / Paramedic
• TXEMT/P - Texas Emergency Medical Technician / Paramedic
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• CPR - Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
