Oncology experience is preferred, but strong clinic leadership experience will be considered.
We’re partnering with a healthcare organization in Southern New Mexico to recruit an RN Manager for its outpatient Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology clinics.
This is an opportunity for an experienced nurse leader who enjoys developing people, improving operations, and building strong relationships with physicians and clinical teams.
You don’t need to come from oncology to be considered. We’re interested in leaders with backgrounds in primary care, family practice, multispecialty, and other ambulatory clinics who are ready to take on broader responsibility.
The OpportunityThe RN Manager will oversee approximately 22 employees, including a clinical supervisor, across outpatient oncology and radiation oncology services.
The organization is looking for a leader who can bring consistency, accountability, and a collaborative approach to day-to-day operations while helping strengthen the team and support continued program development.
This isn’t simply a position focused on maintaining existing operations. The incoming manager will have an opportunity to influence how the clinics function, how employees are supported, and how care is coordinated.

- Leaders from primary care, family practice, multispecialty, oncology, or other outpatient clinical settings.
Oncology experience is preferred, not required. Candidates coming from other clinical specialties should be willing to learn the oncology environment and obtain any required specialty training or certifications.
We’re especially interested in leaders who have improved team performance, addressed staffing challenges, developed employees, or strengthened clinic operations.
Why Consider This Opportunity? If you’ve built a strong team, improved a challenging clinic environment, or helped bring consistency to daily operations, this is an opportunity to put that experience to work in a broader leadership role.
You’ll have the opportunity to influence clinic operations, support employees, and work closely with providers in two important outpatient specialties.
You don’t have to be an oncology expert to be the right leader for this position.
