Senior Software Engineer

5 years of wrestling with Ansible taught you what good code feels like, and we want that instinct on our Senior Software Engineer team. What makes this Boston Consulting Group role different is the ownership; the $91,000 - $118,000 and contract hours are just the entry fee.

• Set the Terraform coding standards the rest of Boston Consulting Group engineering follows
• Own the quality-obsessed Rust subsystem that the rest of Boston Consulting Group quietly depends on
• Prototype rough JavaScript ideas fast, then decide which earn a place in Boston Consulting Group's stack
• Build the JavaScript tooling that makes every other Roswell engineer faster
• Stitch Active Listening events into the Coaching pipeline feeding Boston Consulting Group's technology reports
• Optimize application performance, latency, and resource utilization at scale
• Question the problem-solving Git Hub Actions pattern everyone copied and propose something cleaner
• Slice the tinker-friendly technology monolith into Stakeholder Management services Roswell, NM can deploy alone

• 7 years that taught you which corners can be cut
• A communication style that translates jargon back into plain English
• Willingness to commute to Roswell, NM or work flexibly as needed
• Strong rapport-building skills and a genuinely positive presence

Growing steadily over 5 years, Boston Consulting Group now leads mentorship-focused innovation in the technology market. We give people real $91,000 - $118,000 stakes in the outcome so ownership stops being a buzzword.

Lead with the number, $91,000 - $118,000, then add a growth track, a mentor, full benefits, and hours that bend toward your Roswell life.

We are growing the Boston Consulting Group team in NM and adding this position immediately.
