The Accountant supports the financial operations of assigned Bon Appetit accounts by ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and meaningful analysis. This role partners closely with Operations to support sound financial decisions in a fast‑paced, service‑focused environment.

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Complete monthly account reconciliations and support close processes
• Analyze financial results, including labor, food cost, and operating expenses
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support field teams with financial questions and reporting needs
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP
• Assist with audits and special projects as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 1–4+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Strong Excel skills required (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
• Experience working with ERP or accounting systems (SAP preferred)
• Food service, hospitality, retail, or multi‑unit operations experience highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines
• Effective communicator who works well with cross‑functional partners
