This role will be based in any of our US office locations, but San Francisco Bay Area or New York preferred.

We’relooking for aDirectorto lead our Deal Deskteamfor LMS(Linked In Marketing Solutions) line of business
-a high-performing, scale-focused operations team critical to driving efficient and effective deal strategy and closure.
Youwill lead a global team of strategists and managers driving operational excellence, scalable deal support, and commercial innovation. You Will serve as a critical bridge between Sales,Sales Operations, Pricing,Revenue,Legalstakeholders-empowering faster, compliant, and more strategic deal execution while helping shapethe future of Linked In'scommercial model.
This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, depth of business experience backed by both intuitionand data, and a deep understanding of operational processes & performance management.
- Lead and develop a global team of Deal Desk Strategists (across FTEs and vendors) and Managers/Senior Managers (FTEs only), fostering a high-performance culture focused on customer impact and operational rigor.
- Establish, own and drive the long-term strategy and day-to-day operations of the LMS Deal Desk, including deal strategy, structuring, approvals, and order management—enabling faster, more accurate deal execution while balancing scaled use of resources.
- Act as a trusted advisor and strategic architect of the commercial deal process from quote to close—partnering closely with Sales, Pricing, Legal, Revenue, Sales Operations to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
- Identify and lead business-wide growth and leverage initiatives leveraging data driven, analytical approaches and competitive benchmarking, and deliver process, policy and systems changes to drive revenue growth and improve sales and x-functional teams' productivity.
- Partner with Sales, Pricing, Strategy teams to shape commercial model, policy and discounting guardrails and test new go-to-market motions and monetization pilots (e.g., new offers, incentives).
- Establish a deal intelligence feedback loop, synthesizing trends in deal structures, exceptions, and customer feedback to inform Sales/Pricing policies and Sales enablement.
- Build strong partnerships with LMS Sales and cross-functional leaders to ensure operational performance and processes are aligned to Linked In’s strategic priorities and adhere to sales policies & compliance standards.
- Serve as executive partner to Sales and Quote to Cash partners—supporting escalations, exception governance, and revenue-impacting tradeoffs through structured decision frameworks.
- Identify, implement and manage growth and leveragesuccess metrics and targets to drive the focus of the team to maximize customer value and business growth

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas or combination:
Deal Desk, Pricing, Revenue/Sales Operations, Business Operations, Finance,…
