We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Director/Senior Director of Strategy and Business Development to partner with the CEO. This role defines and drives strategic initiatives, optimizes internal operational effectiveness, and leads the company’s growth through strategic partnerships in the acute neurological care space.
ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Develop, champion, and execute the strategy for partnering with pharmaceutical companies, aligning with Ceribell’s long-term growth opportunities.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential partners for collaborations focused on companion diagnostics, EEG data applications, or co-commercialization in neurology.
- Lead relationship building, due diligence, and support negotiation of complex strategic alliance and license agreements.
- Conduct robust financial modeling and market sizing analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop clear, high-impact presentations and communication materials for internal stakeholders and external partners, translating technical and business risks into executive recommendations.
- Collaborate with the CEO to lead strategic projects, develop work plans, perform market analysis, and prepare recommendations for the ELT and Board of Directors.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects to ensure timely completion and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Provide data-driven analysis on market access, competitive landscape, and pricing strategy for the Ceribell EEG System.
- Support CEO office operations, including planning staff meetings, tracking key decisions, and ensuring timely execution of priorities.
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in a STEM field;
Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields are highly valued. - 3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or similar roles.
- Business development experience at pharmaceutical companies is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record in a senior management capacity, preferably in medical devices or healthcare.
- Proficiency in strategic analysis and problem-solving.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration at all levels.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and drive results in a fast-paced Med Tech environment.
Compensation Range
$228,000 - $280,000 USD
A candidate’s final salary offer will depend on skills, education, location, and experience. Compensation may include bonuses per Ceribell’s plan.
