  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant international shipments.
  • Review and validate customs entries, duty payments, and related import documentation.
  • Ensure accuracy of import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other required filings.
  • Monitor and communicate changes in global trade regulations affecting semiconductor products, materials, and advanced technologies.
  • Assist with the preparation, submission, and management of export licenses and commodity jurisdiction or classification requests.
  • Develop, maintain, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for trade compliance processes.
  • Conduct internal trade compliance audits and support corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Support external audits and respond to regulatory inquiries.
  • Provide trade compliance training and guidance to internal stakeholders across engineering, operations, procurement, and logistics functions.
  • Support Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) operations, if applicable, including zone admissions and weekly entries.
  • Support trade automation initiatives and maintain data integrity within ERP and trade compliance systems (e.g., SAP GTS, Descartes, or equivalent).
What you Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in global trade compliance, preferably within the semiconductor, electronics, or high‑technology industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), particularly as they relate to semiconductor equipment, materials, and technology.
  • Experience with export licensing, product classification, and restricted party screening tools.
Your Core Strengths:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and regions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP/trade compliance systems preferred.
  • Certified Export Specialist (CES), Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), or related certification preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Hybrid work environment with periodic on‑site presence at manufacturing or R&D facilities.
  • Limited travel may be required to suppliers, logistics partners, or compliance training events.
